Kinda like on dA (deviantArt), where, if you have a premium, you can put up a widget that lets you know the last 5-10 people to visit your profile. I think it'd be neat to see. :b
I'm thinking it would be something you could add, rather than connected to something else, just in case you don't want to display the option for all to see. What do you guys think? o:
Personally, I don't think this is an option that would mean anything. I mean, does it matter who visits your profile? Unless of course you want to see who visits your profile that you don't want to, in which case it might be better not to even go down that road.

I would rather know which country the user that is visiting my profile is from if this got put into place.

I don't see any harm in adding something like this. I don't think I would make much use of it, personally, though.

- I already have a statcounter on my blog. You can do that through custom profile making, so I can't see Subeta actually implementing it.
However, I DO support it. It'd safe me a lot of hassle and it'd also be easier to determine if someone was harassing you, or make it easier to make friends.
Member of the Daily Item cult. My HA is male, like myself.
Like OMFG KEITH VISITED MY PROFILLEEEE I AM FAMES.
I wouldn't really like this. on dA I have my status set to invisible so people don't know when I visit their page. I'm really shy and private.
I'd only be neutral about this is if that I have my "Last Seen" set as hidden, would do the same thing, and not show me on people's profiles.
When I'm bored I visit random people's profiles, and I'm paranoid, so the only thing I can think of if someone sees that I went on their profile, they'd be like "Who tf is this? Why did they visit my profile?" ...Because I'm the same way. :x If this was implemented I would probably never go to people's profiles unless I absolutely had to.
I'm just curious, how would it make it easier to make friends?
Like users are just like the FBI they need to leave everyone else to their damn business.
If someone wants to talk to you, they will.. if they don't.. then they won't. Targetting people for "hey why you look me up so much?", if anything, is going to drive people to more paranoid impulsive blocking. I also don't like the concept of "this person is harassing me because they're always looking me up but never say anything" or "I blocked so and so and my friend said they've gone to my profile like 20 times today I want them frozen because stalking". Like no, maybe they're just not aware they're blocked and you have something for sale they want or something. Or your username is weird or unmemorable so they don't remember you or why you blocked them (has happened to me a few times, I'm blocked by two people I've never spoken a word to and I only found out because of ufa pets or something).
DNW, will lead me to being even more reclusive than I already am.
As long as we can opt out, fine.
This seems like it would cause more harm then good.
I've seen this feature on a few different sites and it always steikes me as creepy and unneeded.
This seems really unnecessary.
I'd rather see something about which country the user's in so I don't message someone in the middle of their night and wonder why they're not replying immediately. XD;

No thanks :x I visit people's profiles for a ton of random reasons and I'd honestly feel a little weird about it if there was a note every time I was on someone's profile
but how then would we stalk people while pretending we don't ????????

I loathe this feature on DA. Absolutely loathe it, to the point where, back before being invisible was an option, I would actively avoid going to people's profiles if they had premium for fear that they'd have the visitor's feature.
On Subeta there are some people who I will frequently visit because I think they do a good job on their pet stories or profile graphics or whathaveyou and I like to read/re-read their work or admire their graphics. However, I'm not a social person, and if suddenly they could see I check their stuff for updates every so often, I would feel really paranoid that they might feel I was stalking them for something. And if they approached me about the subject, even though my reasoning is as innocent as "you make good shit and I love looking at it", I would feel very bad for having ever made them uncomfortable with my presence.
The only way I could ever even vaguely support this idea is if users were to have an option to set it so they never appear on the counter, just like DA's "invisible" option.
Sounds alright to me, I'd like to know who is stalking my profile, especially if it was optional.
that would be like.... getting rid of the hidden status thing and having people know we're online all the time when we so desperatly try to convince them we have a life
