If I get a new infection say on this Sunday (which is the last day of Survival) will the infection still progress after the event is over? I want another one just rushing to finish the biting achievement.

I personally have been wondering the same thing, and crawling casually through Survival info, but as far as I've seen there isn't any info about this possibility yet. I know somebody said at one point that getting their infection from day 1 should've given them time for 4 infections total, but I followed the same plan and I'm only in the mid-to-late stages of my 3rd :/ Won't finish until Sunday. So people must be assuming that it will progress...

I really hope that works :/ I'm going to need until sunday to finish my strain, and I wanted to get Blistered Hearts, too.... I really doubt I can get the biting achievement, tho... have to wait for next year ^^

People have been saying that in past years they kept progressing. So, that's what I've been running with and I plan to start my 4th strain tomorrow (maybe tonight if I progress before I have to go to bed, but I'll be cutting it close)

I just started my fourth strain. Some of the older infections have fewer stages to progress through.

I am worried that I won't be able to even get the biting achievement next year, sometimes they like to retire these event achievements (if not that would be great!).

I am gonna just try anyways, I am halfway to the biting achievement, hopefully by Sat night I can get the butterfly bruise!

I have my fingers crossed they'll continue the biting achivement. It isn't easy to get when next to no one wants your strain (or my fellow zombies were just faster than me ^^' )...

I know what you mean, it seems the only way I can bite faster than everyone else is by keeping the infect me thread open and refreshing every 5 mins.

Yeah, I really think they'll keep progressing, since it used to work like that when we still had yearly strains ^-^

Here's to hoping the achievement was made to be permanent, since it can be a fairly tough one to get...

I dont want to get anyones hopes up, but I asked a few days ago, and I think people were saying its on until the 2nd because of the no biting glitch, I may be wrong so dont bite my head off [see what I did there?]

Yeah, Survival runs until the 2nd but that doesn't mean that people starting a strain in the next few days would finish by then

Its all a guessing game atm, Im hoping to get a final strain tomorrow. I dont think theres any strain that would finish in 2 days,butterfly takes 4 days, thats 16 hours x 6 stages I worked it out so I could grab a last one :0) fingers crossed! Yay I've completed, whilst I was typing/thinking.

I know, but when exactly Survival ends is kind of irrelevant in this case unless you were worried about your current strain ending in time.
