...you can't understand how other people can dislike it?

Obviously we all have different opinions, and it's easy enough to understand why someone could not like the taste of your favorite juice, for instance, but what are those things that leave you a bit flabbergasted when people say they don't like them? It can be foods, books, movies, events, etc.

For me, it's when I encounter someone who doesn't like animals. Any animals. Like they just hate all animals on the Earth. I just don't understand how?

I don't like animals. Lmao just kidding. But I really don't care for owning pets anymore because when your young your like they are so much fun, and now that im older all i can think about is gotta buy cat food, gotta buy dogfood, gotta buy a new leash, gotta play with the damn things, gotta train it, gotta brush it, gotta clip its claws, gotta get it a haircut, gotta change its litter, gotta wash it. And these things are nonstop omg. Just no.

I love cheese so much, that unless you are lactose intolerant you should love cheese too. Because it's amazing.

I don't like cheese. I even make sure not to buy the cheesy cat food for Totoro, my cat, who is totally worth all the litter scooping. :P You give me cheese, I give you my gag reflex.

I like broccoli, but not brocolli and cheese. I feel the same way about Beets. Beets are the most under-rated vegetable. -nods-

I don't get it when some people don't like the music that I like. I don't understand how they don't see the utter beauty and absolute talent in it. Celtic Woman is my favorite and when I play some for someone and they're like 'Eh.' I just make this derp face at them like 'HOW ARE YOU NOT LOVING THIS RIGHT NOW?!?'

That's exactly what I was going to say! Animals are the best... even the ones people don't typically see as cute and adorable. At least I can stand people who do but ignore/don't interact with animals... but some people just actively hate animals, and that's terrible :/

I totally can get your passion behind your music. Sometimes it just stirs your soul so much, and when someone else doesn't even like it, your kinda like 'what...?'

I'm glad to know someone else shares my love of animals so much. ^^ I actually once went to a Christmas bazaar that was benefiting a local animal shelter, and one woman walked up to a booth I was looking at and said 'Oh, ew. Sorry, but I think animals belong outside.' It took ALL of my willpower not to say something.

Speaking of which, cheese is amazing and I wish I had a big chunk of it right now. I would totally just eat it like an apple.

I cannot understand why some people hate chocolate. I don't even know how that is even a thing. Chocolate is like the best thing ever.

My dad is one of those people who believes animals should be outside but he's also a super neat freak though.

I do own 2 birds though, and both my parents won't let either one anywhere near them. They live in my room... XD. My mother actually totally freaks out if my cockatiel gets on her which I might add is a pretty amusing spectacle to watch. I'm actually convinced my cockatiel deliberately flies on her because he knows she'll freak out every time he does.

Any who, cheese and pets... I'm guessing would be the big one. I'm one of those people who prefers animals over humans and always will simply because animals don't expect anything. As long as you give an animal food, shelter and affection they're perfectly content, and I prefer it to human interaction which oftentimes comes with conditions that I simply have no desire to fulfill.

Chocolate is AMAZING. I actually have a female friend who doesn't like it. She says it's because a family member forced it on her too much as a kid and now she doesn't like it, but idk man it's still strange to me.

Your dad also probably doesn't go to charity functions for shelter animals and loudly declare how much he hates shelter pets and thinks they should all be tossed outside. xD

I also own 2 birds myself! I love birds. I want to get more someday. For now, I just have my two little budgies. Your cockatiel sounds both precious and hilarious. ^^

Nah... He doesn't do that. He'd consider that too rude to do that, at least in saying that to someone's face.

I agree with you on chocolate. I even find it crazy when people don't like the same types of chocolates I do--like almond joys or reeses. My boyfriend likes chocolate but hates those two. I don't know one can discriminate within a group like that. :P

Oooh, another problem I have deals with Harry Potter. I get feel a bit affronted when people don't like Harry Potter, especially when they haven't even tried to watch or read it.

It always weirds me out when people aren't fond of animals. I'm just like, 'how the hell do you not like animals loOOK AT HOW CUTE THEY ARE!'. Or pizza. How can you not like pizza?! :P

Onions. I HATE, HATE, H A T E onions with a beyond you can comprehend passion!!!!!! I think they are evil, disgusting, smelly god awful taste that I cannot stand what so ever. I do not understand how people love eating onions, I think it ruins any food it touches because thats all you can taste. When I go grocery shopping and I find something I think looks good and I look at the ingredients, the first word I immediately see is onions, I get super freaking pissed!! I feel like I want to scream because I just don't understand why EVERYTHING has to have onions in it. Not everyone loves it so why can't we just do without it? Wish that thing was never invented or even found...however it got to this earth. I think every crop that is growing onions should be burned along with its seedlings!

Lol ok yeah that sounds pretty dramatic, sorry. And its the opposite of your post, I dislike this when people out there love it. So to name one thing I love that I know people hate...the Twilight movies and books. Yeah I know, call me crazy but I really do enjoy watching the movies. I look past the stupidity of it and the things that irks people about it.

Also when people say that they hate cats. I just find it weird that they take their aloofness personally, and that people make them into villains (even if it's just jokingly). I'm like, "Okay, well that person doesn't understand animal behaviour very well..."

Lol I know. I have ate the breading off the onion ring before though...then I toss the onion flab like its yesterdays trash. :P Talk about deep fried goodness, deep fried pickles! Give me a plate full of that and ranch dressing, I'd be the HAPPIEST person on earth!!! Haha :D
