I was doing some art lately and drew this. I want to know what you peeps think of it. perhaps some suggestions on it.
wow you are really talented! I find humans (especially faces) really difficult to draw. My only critique is the anatomy on the shoulders looks a little off but it's barely noticable.
Thank you, I sorta noticed it too but i wasnt to sure so i thought if i posted it and asked what people think then maybe i could get it figured out. since it was like a rough sketch also it can be fixed :D
thank you again, and yes faces are hard but it seems that what i am good at and i love drawing faces!
First I want to say her face is soooooo gorgeous. There were a few things that I think could use a few changes.

I think with the placement of her shoulders the collar bone should be a little more relaxed. The only time the collar bone goes up in that sharp angle is when you have your shoulders scrunched and moved towards your neck. She looks more natural if you drop the shoulder on the left a tiny bit and for the proportions of your finger I suggest shortening the thumb just a tiny bit. Her body has a a nice shape but I moved her side out a bit on the left because the part of your body that attaches at the back of the shoulder usually looks farther out than where the breast attaches to the arm bit.
As a whole I think you have a wonderful ability to show expression both in the face and body language, you have nicely drawn hands, the shape on her waist was wonderful even if I had moved it a bit wider. I think you have a ton of potential, especially with your willingness to take critique and look forwards to seeing it finished. Please ping me :)
Aw thanks! Wow, yes it looks a lot better with the black lines for fixing! This was my first try at hands, actual hands and so I am pleased to hear that I did a wonderful job! Faces are what I love to do, and I am hoping I can one day start selling my art to people :)
feel free to poke at me for anything. I have to stop myself because I get over zealous at the redlines haha. (I've drawn over entire pictures before) Sometimes its just so I can get a feel for where the lines are and not that I'm even fixing anything but I have to remind myself that the artist might think that's me saying I don't like it. On the contrary I take the time because I like something. My art used to be kind of stuff and even now I still struggle with it, but one of the best ways to do that is to focus on shoulders and collar bone. Also keep drawing those hands. A lot of budding artists just hide them, this seemed almost like a hand study. Don't be afraid to bend fingers or have small spaces between them. And (I should take my own advice) do hand studies. Draw like... one hand pose a day until you have those suckers down pat, and then move to say... feet.
One thing I love... I have serious issues drawing faces from below and you nailed it.
Oh I dont mind at all. If it helps me then I will take the advice and everything :D And I used to be one of those artists that would hide the hands a lot. Also feet. But I should be doing art studies and stuff to to draw hands and feet better.
Thank you, I can do most poses with faces but ones I can not do at all are from high up, or even looking straight up, as if from a low angle looking up at the character. The chin/jaw line always get me. and I love drawing eyes and lips so its a pain in my butt lol.
