OK so my first infection this year was deathslug, and i got to the end of it. Then it saved as a skin, and i took it off as if i was cured, and was open to being bitten again. THEN, i accidentally got infected with the same virus, and now im at the end of it again, but it's not letting me take it off? Do i have to wait a day or something? (it only finished today)

Have you gone to your wardrobe and chose the option of "none" for your skins? If it's still not letting you take if off you may need to wait a little bit and keep trying to remove the skin.

yea i logged in today and got an event message that said i could take it off guess i did just have to wait thank you!
