Unfortunately, I got re-infected with the same virus I had the first time, and I'd like to opt out, to try and get a different skin before the event is up, but I don't have the option to do so. What stage do I get the option to opt out? Thanks in advance.

You'll have to either wait until your virus progresses again or try the Bottled Antilovirus. That won't work on the 2015 strains though, and I'm not sure if it works 100% of the time even on older strains.

I've been told that the strains should keep progressing after Survival though, so as long as you are able to start another strain (and you should, since they extended it until the 2nd) you should be okay (but it still sucks that you got hit with the same strain you have)

Do you know if the VIP event will continue next year? I have the exact same problem as so I can't bite (I just want to finish this achievement, argh!)

It's impossible for me to tell how far I've progressed since the virus is growing on top of my skin, so I don't know if I should just wait it out or cure right away. I know the event's been extended, but my skin isn't a high-demand one, so it might be too late :/

We've been told by staff in the past we shouldn't expect zombie strains every year anymore. That said, the whole idea behind the VIP is pretty good, so if they do do an infection in the future, I hope they can iron out the kinks by then.
