So I don't know about you guys, but I really suck at remembering time limits on things. Especially with things like the 5min or 3min ones for events.
So I propose an idea for a new widget.
It'd be in a box similar to the user widget that shows your name and SP and everything.
It'd have a timer (00:00:00), and underneath it'd have two buttons, [Set] and [Clear]
maybe a GA perk would be to have more timers available.
But anyways. You'd set the timer, and it'd count down in real time (like the clock on the top bar) and when it got back to (00:00:00) maybe it'd start flashing red or something to show you time was up.
if you wanted to take it a step further, you could add a [Remember] button that would remember your timing setting [ex (00:05:00)] so you wouldn't have to reset the timer (this would work well for time based events like TOTing and kissing).
So yeah. It'd be a widget and would be 100% optional. But I think it'd be nice.
So uh..yeah.
There are browser extensions (Chrome or Firefox) that do this. No need for a widget.
Even though the idea isn't bad, I agree with the others. Widgets are supposed to be site related. The only exception that comes to mind is the notebook one, but it kinda makes sense.
An account search widget, on the other hand... cough
yesss this would be so useful.
You can use google. For example, if you have 3m 45s before you can kiss someone again, just google "timer 3 minutes 45 seconds"
Leave it open in another tab/window and it'll beep at you when the time's up.
