I know this was suggested in a news thread comment but would love to see this happen. I happened to get a glimpse of my Lovebug virus behind my normal HA base and it looks sooooo cute!!! The little hearts floating behind my HA. Pleas, please make it so that we can wear two skins at once! I know there are a lot of people who want to be able to wear two at once

No thanks. I, again, would rather see more diluted doses of viruses. Even those that we already have
There are only ~7 skins that actually have parts that would be visible behind a regular base (besides small bits of flesh or stuffing), only 4-5 of which would be useable for much, and one of which already has an item that will give the same effect. There are ~5 zapper skins with effects that would be useful to have behind an HA base
I, too think that this would be better turned into a Diluted Dose. My Swan Flu doesn't make sense when layered behind the basic skin and that's the issue with most other strains as well.
There is a diluted lovebug but no hearts behind the ha

if you want hearts around HA try

Its not just about the hearts. There are a number of zapper skins that would work beautifully layered behind the HA base. The spectrum and blacklight are two examples

I woudn't use much of such feature. I can see the staff denying it by "too much coding to work on". I would prefer to see more diluted doses of certain virus.
With layering, you can do a lot of stuff WITHOUT using skins. I think we should exhaust our option before opting for such thing.
If this happened, I think it should be a giant sP sink (like 1m to wear more than one base) that only lasts a month/until you change it.
However, I don't think this is something doable or that maybe just doesn't want at the time being-- otherwise this would have been implemented when the skin system first came out when users were wearing zombie skins + zapper skins at the same time and now have to pick one or the other.
That said-- I do 100% support the concept of more items like the that gives a slightly different version of the zombie "extras" if you will.
Why should the system be changed because 2-3 skins work well with that, when the rest looks awful?
I really like and support 's suggestion about the items.
I know that with some viruses I liked only certain characteristics (like the butterflies shown in Andrea's post) and with more than a few I only liked certain stages.
[Item=Spectrum Tank Top] looks pretty similar imo.
[Item=Magical Love Duct Tape] is close to Lovebug's hearts as well.
I wouldn't mind if artists created similar diluted virsus effect thinks, but I would hate to see reasources wasted on something that bately has many uses.
I think this is possible to achieve without needing to make a 2 skins thing. Just use one of the liquid latex' + a body item that gives a shadow to the nose so you have that back (or one of the new nose wearables). You can also use the petri dish skin. Or (if you have it) the Genetech SecondSkin V.2
Weak support. It was possible to have a zapper skin with a zombie underneath it, so I'm not sure the coding is the limiting thing. What I'm thinking is that the skins aren't transparent, so it's be an art thing. Dilute versions seems like a better idea.
This works for far more than just the skin mentioned in the OP.
I'm still somewhat upset I was forced to lose the skin combo I planned to keep using forever: Experiment 893 over Butterfly Bruise. Diluted doses aren't a thing for the other HA bases (unless I've missed way more than I thought, but I REALLY doubt there's a diluted equivalent for them). Plus they don't do anything to help many skins combos, including the one I personally used to use.
A lot of skins could be layered over/under other skins for some really cool effects: Bindi Bite, Blacklight, Butterfly Bruise, Darkmatter, Dream Rhino, Experiment 164, Experiment 2285, Experiment 333, Experiment 893, Eyebawls, Fish Tank, Flameo, Freckle Fever, Lobster Face, Love Bug, Naughty Nip, Nightmare, Spectrum, The Baker.
That's nineteen skins, way more than just 2-3. Not to mention I'm only counting skins that could obviously be layered (i.e. they're literal overlays of pattern/body parts over a full skin) and those that I think could look very cool layered. Other people probably have ideas for skins I didn't think of.
Unless I somehow missed one, all the skins in the Wardrobe are transparent. If they weren't the new thing with backgrounds not having a cut out bit wouldn't be possible.
I'm all for more diluted doses. Not a fan of having two skins at once though.
Skins aren't transparent. Full backgrounds get layered over your skin unless you drag your base above the background. If they were transparent to be able to used with a full background behind them, you couldn't see them at all, correct?
I honestly have no idea what you're saying.
Actually some are transparent, for example

Also, how would this work with biting?
There is so much room for issues for what it is worth.
More diluted doses please.
