I've been wanting to sell my for a while now, but I'm not sure of the CSC price.

I can't find it in the pawn shop, there's one trade up but the price is not listed, and there's a CW shop selling it at 1000CSC. I have no idea if that is an accurate asking price or not?

I've even looked at old forum posts, but they're all outdated. :/

This is originally a 2012 CW I think? Not sure if it makes much of a difference, honestly.

Anyone know the current worth of this background?

If it's up for 1k CSC in the shop, then you could probably get 700-900 for it in the forums. (especially since to sell in the cash shop, you have to be the creator...)

Actually, I don't normally sell CWs. Would the advertise forum be a good place to make a thread, or just placing it in a trade?

Advertisement forum would get it sold a lot faster.

Ah, thank you for the extra help! I don't normally sell or buy CWs, and I'm still used to the time when all CWs were in the cash shop only, so coming back after a while makes it rather confusing. DX

Hey, I don't know if you found one or not, but... hm. That CW is very popular, but there is no shortage of them onsite. I know that at least a dozen batches went out from the original artist (I think it was more but I'm not a hundred percent on that). The artist chose not to put it into the Cash Shop when it was under the old system and instead slotted and distributed full batches at a time; they seem to have priced it in their Current CW shop so that they get the max profit from each sale, probably desiring to keep the value high/consistent with where it has always been. That may explain why the demand is so high now, and the price stays so high - people who got it back then are hanging onto it because it's gorgeous, and now the only other way to get it is direct from the artist, who has chosen to keep the value high and is now selling them for more than the original slot price.

I actually owned the CW myself, as I had bought it from the cash shop back in 2012. I stopped using it a couple years ago, and finally decided I should try and sell it.

I did sell it rather easily for exactly 800 CSC, in case anyone was interested! ^u^

No problem! I guess he did put it into the Cash Shop after all, I know for a long time he was slotting batches because he preferred to control how it went out.
