Happy year of the Sheep! BAAAA!

Is anyone celebrating it? I am! How are you celebrating it? Do you have an traditions you follow? Do you give out lucky red envelopes?
As for me, we clean out the whole house a few days before new years. Clean/tidy house to welcome the new year. Today i'll be celebrating with my mates, watching fireworks and the lion/dragon dance. Then we'll stuff our faces.

I visited my grandmother and bowed to her. Since I'm old now I should be giving red envelopes to my little cousins, nephews, and nieces since I grew up getting them. My family eats the traditional rice cake soup and pays respects to our ancestors with a feast.
I may go to Chinatown to have fun with some friends if I'm in the mood to stand the cold in the city!

Year of the Sheep!
Haha I'm still really embarassed on mixing Chinese New Years with moon festival. 8D;;;; Especially since I'm asian, oof, though I'm an American.
We do a few things such as calling in a fun shui person to check the house and post a few red fortune posters around the house. Oh man, so much was off with my room. coughs (holes in the wall, had to move bed, clean whole room and bookcase, dust everywhere) But it feels a lot better now. ^_^
We also ate out with our Grandma before she went to Vegas with her friends. (I don't know, elderly people in Hawaii really like going to Vegas for some reason. O_o)
We don't have fireworks, though mostly for the fireworks law, boooooo. Though I'm sure there might've been some down by Chinatown, though we usually don't go down there except for New Years or dim sum.
