I'm asking for a little vertical asymmetry.

Right now the BUY button, it is equidistant from the item it's below and the item it's above. The very faint line in between isn't all that helpful. I'm ending up buying stuff I don't want.

It looks pretty straightforward to me?

Yeah I don't see anything wrong with the positioning? There's a pretty big gap along with a border between rows of items.

Mine seems perfectly normal. I can buy easily, I haven't yet, but nothing isn't in line or anything.

There's a nice gap between the items, so if you're mis-clicking I don't see how.

Mine looks fine too. The buy button is right underneath the price with a gap above the next item

This is the kind of thing I would normally complain about, but I don't see any problems with the shop right now.

It sounds like it's either a custom CSS issue or maybe a problem with your browser's zoom level?
