I was recently infected, and I know some viruses are easy to miss, but everytime I go to the wardrobe the page loads. I briefly, very briefly, see the beginnings of the boobitus virus before my HA loads and then it gets covered up by my base. I've taken off everything on my HA but the virus has disappeared and I don't know how to get it on my HA. I know it's there because I see it everytime I load my wardrobe until it gets covered up. The virus doesn't even show when I go to the Healer in the Sacred Lands. It just shows my HA's hair, no base at all.
Does any have any ideas as to how I might fix this?

The virus doesn't show in the wardrobe. I can see it on your HA on the forums though, and you can use this link to check on it if you'd like.
Thanks for taking the time to answer my question, I was afraid something had bugged out! That's a load off my mind. I can go back to enjoying the Survival event. :) Cheers!

No problem c: It's been confusing a ton of people that they don't show in the wardrobe, especially when some of the first signs are usually hidden under clothes
Oh, thank you for this thread, I was starting to think something was wrong cause I can't see any sign of infection on my HA, lol xD
It reminds me of eons ago, you couldn't see anything except normal human skin when you were in your wardrobe, so getting dressed was a mega pain. Things didn't line up sometimes (Eyes and mouths, mostly) so you'd work forever on an avatar, save and go to look at it with your zombie skin and see some lopsided monstrosity.
It's annoying. I want to make a lovely purple avatar but I don't know what anything looks like right now.
bird and bear and hare and fish give my love her fondest wish
Yeah, hopefully the subeta team will be able to fix it. Bad timing with Survival going on, but I'm sure they're working on it. The new wardobe is still in beta mode, afterall.

I was just about to make a thread about this too, I really hope it will get fixed after the event (Or sooner) It will be hard to make an HA without being able to see the overlay.
sorry to bother, but how does that link work you provided? I tried to put in my UserID but I just get a base with wardrobe-eyes and -mouth....
The link shows your base once you add the userID, which is what will have the virus on it if you have one. Your base doesn't show to be infected, even though the forums say you are. It is possible you are being affected by a site wide problem which you can read more about in the topics in Problems and Bugs.
I've seen that before with the link. It usually works but sometimes it seems to show the wrong base. I'm really not sure why :x
Okay, thank you both, I'm gonna keep an eye on the topics. I decided just yesterday to get infected by another virus, so I unfortunately haven't been paying attention to those topics - but i probably should have ^^'
Pardon my intrusion and completely random ping: one of the easiest ways I've found to check on the infection's stage is to hover over a wear preview. Nine times out of ten, it shows there just fine for some reason.

I just tried that, but unfortunately, it doesn't work for me :/ but now the link that posted earlier shows my infection. It's all so confusing :D I'm just gonna bookmark the link and watch that... thanks anyway, it was a reasonable idea ^^
Omg. XD; It is confusing.

There's an option in your preferences to turn on/off whether or not your skins will show on wearable previews, maybe that's why it sometimes works?
Oh. Just once, I'd like something on Subeta to work right. x___x;

Personally I've never had a wearable hover not work, but I've had the "hexes" as the page puts it turned off on previews since the option was implemented :x So I'm not sure why sometimes it would work and sometimes it doesn't.
I did notice that the preview= code shows zombie skins regardless of what you have marked for wearable previews.
