Pinging because I think some of you knew her.

It's with a heavy heart that I make this post. My friend Vivian, known here as Daighnaulte, passed away last night. She had been waiting for a lung transplant that was finally carried out on Saturday. Unfortunately, there were complications that she just couldn't overcome.

I never met Viv and we only spoke here or on FB, where I followed her transplant journey. She was a joy to know and never let her situation get her down. despite having to move away from home and leave behind her beloved dogs, so that she could be closer to the hospital for when the call came.

RIP Vivian. The struggle is over.

I'm very sorry about her departure. That's extremely saddening :( RIP to your good friend, and may they keep her account as a memorial or whatever her family wishes to be.

It is so hard to lose a friend. I think in some ways even harder with our internet friends because we have so little memories to cherish when they are no longer with us. Thank you for sharing.

I am so sorry for your loss, loosing a friend or any loved one is always so hard. A friend is the family you choose.... :)

I'm so very sorry to hear this. I didn't know Daighnaulte well but she'd bought things from me and chatted with me off and on. I wasn't even aware of everything going on but this hurts my heart to hear it. I hope her friends and family can find solace in one another.

omgosh...thank you so much for letting us know. I have posted to her numerous times but had not heard back so I was wondering how she was. My heart is sad as I have lost too many here. I agree that it is at times harder as we can't give RL hugs and help. My thoughts and prayers go out to those who grieve her loss and to her family. Daighnaulte~you will be missed as you are so loved. ❤
