When stickers came out, it was really fun to give and receive stickers that I didn't necessarily plan out with a friend, haha. Stickers are meant to be a two sided process and I think the achievements should reflect that. Also, it'd just be a nice incentive to helping our your friends.
Okay wow why have I never thought of this?? I wouldn't mind this at all actually, as long as it's not some super ridic number with a million tiers.
And as long as there is a forum title and sticker prize attached, I'm game.
Definitely agree that it would be cool to see this become a two-sided achievement. :)
Especially nice if there was a sticker prize.
I love this idea! I have so many stickers up for trade that I can't get stuck. I can't even blame anyone because there are so many and it's so tedious. It would be good to have an incentive for sticking, but I guess the staff feels it won't be as special for the people who ended up going through the trouble of getting so many stuck? Shrug
I feel like it is way too late to have an achievement like this. I have over 1100 stickers in my album and all but a handful of them have been added by my husband. I am sure he is not the only one who has added so many stickers, so unless there were some way to make this achievement retroactive it just seems really unfair.
Also, I feel like an achievement like this would encourage users to add random stickers or duplicate stickers to other people's albums. I can see someone adding 100 of the cheapest sticker they can find to someone's album just for the achievement with no regard for if the other person actually wanted all those duplicates.
I only support this if it's retroactive, lol. I've given out a ton in the past but don't really stick too often now (only when Major Drills asks and I have one on hand), so I'd want recognition for all the ones I have done.
Also seconding on the "someone sticking a hapless user with a thousand of the same cheap sticker" concerns -- I know I'd be burning with the wrath of a thousand suns if someone did that to me and my carefully-organized collection.
Yeah, like I love the idea in theory, but this has the potential to make a lot of people really unhappy :(
That would be awesome! But I'd have to agree with and , multiple stickers you can't remove really suck. Wouldn't it be better to have the same thing in place as books read to pets applied to having stickers stuck? If it is already there you can't stick it again.
I'd love that idea! But yeah, that multiple duplicate sticker issue could be a serious downer...the only two duplicates I have are actually my own fault...but they are still irk-some.

I like this idea. For me the interesting part would be finding out how many stickers I have given to friends. I have several people on my list that I stick.
Man, if this could be awarded retroactively somehow, I would be totally on board. I personally don't mind duplicates too much, as you can stack them... and I like getting a bunch of my favorites, it always makes me smile to have a friend stick me with one I really like. BUT I get that it would annoy a lot of people, and I could see this becoming a spammy-spam-spam kind of thing kind of quickly. So eh, I'm on the fence I guess XD
You could always have a volunteer sticker board, much like the current sticker threads in the achievement forum. Or perhaps add a checkbox to account options where you can click an option to only be stuck by people on your friends list, or not stuck at all (like they have for gifting).
Personally I don't care at all about my sticker collection, only deliberately adding to it for specific achievements and don't care about duplicates.

No. Then people would probably just buy a bunch of cheap stickers, and add 100 of them to one poor person's album. Personally I don't like getting duplicates, unless I post on the generic "stick the person above" board. So if someone randomly decided to stick me a bunch of the same cheap sticker, I wouldn't be very happy.
