So guys, I noticed that over the last year in college the stress lead me to eating... which lead me to going from 110 pounds to 118 pounds... I ate to relieve my stress I ate to curb boredom, never ate because I was hungry. I just ate because food tasted good. I was always the girl in highschool that was so thin she could have been a model and I hated how the weight looked. So I changed my life! I have lost 5 pounds in the last 1.5 months. I eat healthy and enough that I am full. I only eat when I am hungry and just I wanted someone to tell about this amazing result! AND I AM NOT DONE! I want to gain 10 pounds of muscle! <3 Im pretty sure my parents are tired of hearing me say I lost 5 pounds or 4 pounds or 3. They are trying to lose the weight too. But GOSH DARN I AM SO HAPPY! HUG ME PEOPLE!
...You only gained 8lbs. I'm sorry to be a huge jerk, but losing 8lbs is not a life change.
Congrats to losing the weight! hugs
I myself am getting healthy and I am keeping the weight off. I have loss 73 pounds (it will be a year this summer) and I am maintaining my weight because I do not want to gain it back. Here is to us for being healthy! :)

Uh, she's not saying losing the weight she gained is the life change guys.
She was unhappy with the way she was treating her body so she CHANGED the way she ate - which imo is a bigger feat that I could accomplish.
Congratulations, :)
That's awesome! It's hard to make life changes like that, so congrats to you. :) I'm trying to make some lifestyle changes as well but I have a hell of a lot more weight to lose than you do, haha. About 80-100 pounds. I've lost a bit but gained some back (though I have put on some muscle so I guess I've got that going for me). Stress eating is a big (heh) problem for me too so I'm trying to do other things when I feel stressed to take my mind off it. Still got a long way to go though.
Congrats again! It must be a great feeling. :)
Congrats! My favorite thing for starting any workout regimen is doing some form of a detox to restart my body. I'd highly recommend looking into teatoxes. It jump starts your metabolism and gives you so much more energy. But hey, if it turns out to not be your thing, keep doing what your doing! <3
