I was thinking about the Councilors Cruise hairstyles now being offered in the hair salon and the skins. Also this topic where Keith talks about direct to wardrobe items. At the moment he's only talking about stuff that exists and is available through regular means, but if they add this functionality I have no doubt they will start looking at adding more items that have an overlay but no item image, no description, etc.

At this point we have no way to add these to SubetaLodge. Do we want to add them? Do we need to start thinking about it? If we're eventually going to be adding them, we really should look at this soon.

Maybe we should look at creating an HTML page for these kinds of things? We already have the Seasonal Overlays section, maybe just add a hairstyle page and "other skins" for the flameo and lace skins?

I didn't even consider this when the skin system came out in the bata wardrobe, but now that the hairstyles have been added, I can see that this might soon become an issue. People will want to know how to get their hands on these non-items. Finding out how to get items is one of the major things I've used SubetaLodge for. Right now its not too much of an issue, with the hairstyles and price right in the wardrobe, but unless you know the flameo and lace skins are achievement prizes, how do you know how to try to get them? How do you even know its possible to get them?

What do you guys think?

EDIT: And I'm also forgetting about another hairstyle that is "unlockable" as an achievement. I can't even remember what its called at the moment.

You've already found the solution doll, to keep SubetaLodge as accurate as possible, we have to add them and the best option is an overlay page in the CMS section. If there's no item to add, there's nothing we can do about that so instead we write how you get them under the image. It'll work brilliantly, I do it all the time when I add transform items and cash shop perks on the Newly Wearable page.

Then all we would need to do is post about the new releases as they come out.

I actually think an html page would be a last resort, nothing else we can do solution. The problem with only html page/list is that there would be no item page, no way to add it to a collection or mark it off when you get it. I am really hoping this things have item images and descriptions but we need to try and think of a better solution if at all possible.

As far as the skins go, do we even need to have those pages anymore since they all appear in the wardrobe?

well crap. Im not as fast as you with getting overlays uploaded but I made a test page for ya'll just to see what it might look like. Still getting the lace overlay cropped in photoshop tho. Or I could just figure out how to display them in wardrobe like so (points to test page)

Oh yes I did, HAHAHA! I couldn't resist, I think it's a brilliant idea to keep every option for wearables on SubetaLodge even if we don't "have it" have it in there or stashed away in a gallery or vault. I know almost everything here and there is listed for collectors/hoarders but without Arvee now the only way to see how the skin looks is beta wardrobe. If we have a page with a quick look-see, it'll help our members. Personally I hated trying to get the skin figured out in wardrobe.
