Are they all Vanity pages and the like, or is there a trick to it?

Is there a way to turn off all the ones I don't have the pages for?

Which ones, just any with the star next to them? Most are hair coupons, but some are from CS Boutique lines (like Demure). You don't need to collect anything, just buy the coupon or the item and unlock it.

And no, I don't think there's a way to hide the ones you don't have.

No problem. The ones you've unlocked appear in alphabetical order with the defaults, just marked with a star. The ones you haven't are all at the bottom (they happen to be underneath the Ambassador's Cruise ones for 10m each if you don't have all of those)
