Love this feature in the new wardrobe. It lets you know which are default and which aren't in the salon. However, it'd be nice if there could be 4 different colours of stars so that one could know which style is which.
Currently all redeemed/purchased styles are gold in colour.
I'd love to maybe see the following:
Gold stars for hairstyles that you gain through sP purchase (the cruise styles)
Turquoise stars for styles gained through an achievement (currently the Shore style from the Wardrobe achievement. Maybe there'll be others?)
Pink stars for redeemed Hair Coupons
Peach stars for redeemed Boutique styles
"Those are too many colours in the Salon!!!" you might say. Fair enough. I'd be hoping they would be colours easy on the eyes (in other words, not bright). It would make it a lot easier to know which style's from where, however. There'd be a legend above the styles, too, so you know what star is for what style.
If you do have an alternative suggestion, please feel free to post. It'd be nice to have some differentiation so that we know where each style is from as not everyone has a perfect memory lol (and it'd make it easier than having to shop search everything)!

This is an interesting idea, I like it and think it would be fun.
I'm going to say no, for two reasons.
I don't understand why we would need to know where the coupons come from. And even if you wanted to know, it's pretty simple to figure out: Boutique styles will always say Delish (or Zoe with the newest line... but there are only two). All Cruise styles are names of places in Subeta. There is only one achievement redeemed wig, and everything else is a Fringe coupon.
I have the feeling Subeta may make most hair coupons buyable via the hair salon (for obvious sP sink reasons). Then what, all the stars would be Gold?
All we need to know is: Do we have the hair or not. This doesn't need to be complicated.
Completely agree with this.
There is no real need for it, even if you aren't sure, it'd be just as easy to check Subetalodge.
Nah, I really just need to know what I have vs what I don't have.
But what if you're color blind?
If anything, a tooltip could be added so you hover over the stars to see more information. Really though, tooltips just get in the way and it's usually not hard to figure out where the style came from, especially if they're styles you've unlocked. I know exactly where each of my own hairstyles came from because I had to unlock them.
And if you forget, just ask on the forums.
