Sorry if this is already answered somewhere else, I did look but could not find an answer.
It shows a picture of the Ice King, and underneath that it says something like,
Oh No! [Redacted] is frozen! This account will be eligible for clearing on 01/22/15 at 6:25 pm.
The accounts don't clear as they used to. The names and pet names just become available, even with a frozen user. But no, the items don't go anywhere.
I'm 900% positive the items used to get purged along with the account, back when accounts got purged, regardless of account status when purged (frozen or inactive). These days frozen accounts rot too, alongside inactive ones (I used to think those should be purged, too, if they were frozen by staff and wouldn't be returned-- but likewise, it's good record keeping for users who might come back too early or something), so I don't see why the items would go anywhere.
Part of me kinda wishes otherwise (only because haha think of all those privates and pretties!) but equally, those items deserve to go down with the ship. It's not like we get the entire pet/account if we do grab a name after all.
when they did account clearings YEARS ago at first they used to hoard up the items then have a big giveaway in the DC. That changed to items being deleted along with the account, and now to just names opening up when an account "clears". Though I do wish they would manually delete out all those frozen accounts, I mean if they didn't get the account back after say a year after being frozen what good does it do to have those items sitting there adding to server strains? After a year a person can come back so odds are strong two things happen, they make a new account or they leave the site.
FINALLY GOT THE 15K WARDROBE DONE!!!!! Next up gutting and selling it.
I have been looking for a particular CW that only had 1 batch released, and one of the 10 people who got one has been frozen, and I guess now there are going to be 9 of it on the site instead of 10. :"D Ahahahaha.
What CW is it?

No, the items donated in the DC did not belong to other users.
they were brand new items generated by the site.
