When I created these guys 5 years ago, I had some big plans for them.... but they've just been sitting around and I don't really know what direction I want to take them anymore. They'd be great for someone who was interested in getting into battling without having completely to completely start from scratch.

I'm not looking for bells and whistles as far as an application goes... just let me know why you're interested! Species/name/gender changes are all fine. :)

(I was going to come back and edit this with an application, but I thought about it and I'd rather work hard to raise my own pet's stats - I think it would be more satisfying to work from the ground up. Thanks for offering your pets to the community though!)

good start for battle pets

Gah. Inkfell is such a wonderful name. It seems like a name that would be single character specific though and I am trying to move away from those in favor of real word pets that can represent pairs of characters. Gonna have to think on this for a little while and see if my muse can come up with something.

i'm very interested in lockrun!!! i honestly only really want him for the sake of having a beginning battle pet-- though i'm sure i'd be able to come up with a character for him eventually. :) all of my pets are very vague skeletons of ideas right now, as i've just started getting into the pet scene, or else i'd offer them as examples, haha.

General: I'm going to stay open to applications until Wednesday at noon, just so there's a fair/set deadline for everyone.

I was really proud of his name when I created him because it's so close to Inkwell... I had a big story idea for him sort of revolving around the Icarus mythos and it never came to fruition. Take your time in figuring out if you're interested!

No worries about only being interested for the stats! I put in in the topic title for a reason. :P Most of my pets are pretty skeletal as far as stories/etc. go too, so don't feel bad.

I like that it is close to Inkwell as well, but I think I actually like Inkfell better. LOL

Anyway, I'd like to officially express my interest now. I have a concept that's theme is somewhere between Downton Abbey and Les Miserables. I'd like to make Inkfell into a representation of the world the characters live in, not just the leading characters themselves. I've already got ideas for the TC and the profile coding. I'd change the color/species to something... grittier... (I am going to have a look on SubetaLodge as soon as I get a chance.) The world is promising to be just as involved as my historical AU featuring Inheritance and friends, so I've decided now, after giving it some consideration, it probably would be best if I kept the concept to one pet. I don't think I have enough pet slots to do it any other way. XD

Just a heads up: I will not be adding much of a description or trying for the pet spotlight, as neither of those things are important to me. (My pets are representations of off-site stories and I am kind of protective I guess. -locks them in a room- "Shhh... Shhh... It's okay. You're safe in there." /eye twitch) I also will not be continuing to train the pet as I have 10 battle babies already.

I would love Inkfell very much. I do hope you will consider me.

[edit] I've narrowed down the potential color/species to three: Steamwork Illumis, Steamwork Tigrean, or Nostalgic Lain (I'm leaning towards the Nostalgic Lain, but I really like the other two as well.)
