Is it just me, or, is Saggi's quest asking for more high expense items while giving out lower prizes? He has been screwing me over the last several attempts to do his quest, so my main question is: IS this just my random bad luck, or, has this quest been made crappy through 'tweaking' it? I hope it's just me.

He tends to ask for expensive items. You should choose a price limit when completing Saggi quests and skip any quests that ask for more than you're willing to pay. Usually I go for ones that only ask for items that total up to about 70k or less (sometimes 90k if I'm feeling generous). That usually scores me a profit of 500k-1mil for doing his quests each day.

All the quests' items seem to be inflated right now because of the New Year tokens, hopefully they start to come down over the next couple of weeks. I stick to a 100k limit with Saggi personally, and I really only go that far on 4 (soooometimes 3) item quests.

His payouts for me have seemed diminished these past couple weeks. It's common now to get below 70k on 3-item searches, and less than 30k on one-item searches. I used to gamble often when he asked for a lot(and generally allowed myself 50k investment per item), because at least a quarter of the time I ended up making a profit, but I've stopped gambling recently because of the trend I've seen. The last few times I gambled, I had to struggle to break even by the time his quests were done! However, as long as I don't take (many) risks, his quests are well worth doing. Nowadays I try for a 20-30k per item investment.

I think it has a lot to do with the inflation. You always need to check the rarity of items before you buy them, esp if they're inflated.

I've been quitting 5+ of my quests every day with Saggi, so I think it's just the economy recently.

Yeah, I agree that it has a lot to do with inflation, we'll just have to wait for the item prices to even out.

In the meanwhile, I'm only spending above 120k on quests that are 3-4 item and include a r:98-99 item, but even that fails me sometimes :P

Yeah, I've been having some pretty bad luck myself, I try not to spend more than 60-80K on items for his quests. Then I did 4 quests that only gave back 50,000 each. I think I'll probably skip his quests until things even out from everyone doing the quests to get tokens.

Radiation is finished! Sorry if I get confused sometimes, I just had brain surgery!

Thank you for all the kind thoughts and wishes while I'm in the hospital again!

I only do Saggitarius for quest points and New Year Tokens I make sP from my shop so I don't need them. He gives out a higher ratio of QP than other quest grantors. I spend up to 240K per quest and I come out very close to even, sP-wise. I didn't notice a change with the New Year Quests myself.

I'm so frustrated with Saggi lately D: just had a 3 items quest, and spent 70k - and got 36k back. Grargh frustrated growl
