I feel like i saw this suggestion a while ago, but looking through the forum pages i didnt find it.

Something that bothers me A LOT about beanbag and plush collections is that we cant change the sorting order. I don't think this would be a very hard adjustment to make. Just take the sorting order options we have for our inventories and throw them on the collection pages as options as well. Id really like to see some of the sets all together in my collections, not scattered on different pages because they start with different letters. Like it would be nice if all the Derpy Puppy plush were in the same area, or the happy planets, or all the new food beanbags, that would otherwise be in seemingly random places that only make sense alphabetically.

Or maybe it would be cool if we could sort them similar to how we sort stickers. Or choose multiple sorting options, like sort first by item ID and then by A-Z.

thoughts? Ideas?

I agree. My gallery is so out of order (and maybe my OCD is kicking in), and it bugs me. I do think that there should be a change order button.

You can already change gallery sorting between alphabetical or by ID

That said, I support. I'll be keeping mine on alphabetical but there's no harm in having more sorting options

Yeeesss! I normally like to arrange things by alphabetical order, but with sets of plushies or beanbags that start with different letters it would be nice to have them grouped together instead. Great suggestion.

This. I came to the forums just to talk about it. I read on the repeated suggestions page that plushie and beanbag collections will never be QuickStock-able, essentially because "collections are supposed to be tedious"... Which sounds like a condemning confession to me. There are understandable balance reasons that players can only buy one item at once, and rarities and competition provides a natural difficulty without going out of one's way to make playing your game more drudging and less fun.

It makes it even more tedious and less visually appealing for them to be thematically scattered. But for me personally, what made working on the collections appealing was trying to find ones I didn't already have in the shops that restock. However, the shop stock is NOT sorted alphabetically, and there's not currently an option to Search your collection, or to have it display in the same order the shop stocks are, so if you already have a sizable collection, it's virtually impossible to compare the two and see if the shop has anything you don't already have. Searching your collection manually, item for item, is probably - hopefully - far more tedious than anything the devs had in mind.

For me, this may be the "feature" that pushes beyond the line and convinces me this site isn't worth my time. But I thought I'd just come and put my words in in case it makes any difference.

I don't know if I'd really want to sort 3000 plushies by hand (I mean, stickers are already awful considering those damn hovers. GET RID OF THEM ALREADY) But I can get behind have an ID sorting and an alphabetical sorting. That just makes sense.

The necro limit is 15 months, so this is past that limit. Please make a new thread for this idea if it is something you'd still like to see happen
