I usually pick a show on netflix and binge on it. I'm currently binging on Archer.

I have a lot of dreams about my exs and I getting back together. I think it's supposed to mean you are slowly getting over them and you are learning from the relationship. I don't know how true that is though.

It's worked for me every time. And Netflix has tons of shows, so when you finish with one and still feel sad, move onto another.

I do too.

I always dipped my toes back into the dating pool right away. Didn't look back. But I might not be the best example of a well-adjusted person. Just, don't sit and dwell, fill your head with what-ifs, and be miserable. You rock and will find someone new who sees just how awesome you are.

i actually asked someone really cute out just now and they said yes, sooo maybe i'm not a shining example of being well-adjusted either hahah.

I've resorted to both the netflix and spree dating fixes in the past, but I've honestly found like the best thing that makes me feel more whole again and less anxious is to really talk to a friend about the breakup candidly and just share what you went through and how it made you feel. Putting it out there makes me feel like I've accepted it, have a right to feel shitty about it, and can start moving forward. (note: definitely helps if you have a friend who's sensitive and positive).

The most important thing that helped me through a break up was the no contact rule. It makes healing so much harder if you try to be "friends" directly after a break up.

I also jumped right back into dating, that's actually how I ended up with my current boyfriend.
