It's turning me into a royal love. I keep trying to take my medicine, but for some reason I always stall about it even though. I know it's going to help my mood and help me feel better. I just lash out, and I hate being that way I say sorry for it later. I'm also pmsing though, but I still don't think that's much of an excuse! I'm getting really stressed out trying to clean my whole apartment, and tackling chores, and trying to make things better for everyone.

It's like I don't know how to do what's right for me first. I'm kinda afraid to take my meds, because it makes me not clean as much, and I like cleaning this much, and trying to fix organization problems. I just want everyone to be happier, and to have a nicer home..I struggle with chores a lot. I'm trying my best.

So any tips for stressing out, and trying to find solutions to organizational problems, and trying to keep up with things? Thanks. I feel safe here. I hope that stays the same. I've never made a topic like this before.

Hello! First of all, I can't really comment too much on your medicine since I dont know any history behind it, but if you arent takng it regularly (which it sounds like you are skipping days) it wont be fully effective. You should talk with your doctor about finding a different medicine that wont cause adverse personality changes while still helping the problem you're taking it for. Sometimes it takes a little trial and error to find a medicine that works. Good luck!

As for organizing and cleaning, it sounds like you are getting overwhelmed. Try breaking the big task of cleaning your whole apartment up into mini tasks. Do one room at a time. Before you begin, go in and calmly observe it. Take note and make a list of things you want to tackle. For example, the kitchen. Look at the floor. Does it need a sweeping? Do you have dirty dishes in the sink? Note that doing dishes will be part of your cleaning taskx for that room for that day. Set your goal as one room per day. You don't have to do the entire apartment in one afternoon. Hope this helps a bit!

I agree with Magic, if it's a medication that you are suppose to take daily, then you better do it, or you will not see results! PMSing can indeed be an excuse, it can get very severe for some people, I have PMDD which is not a good mix with my mental health. Anyway, as for organizing/cleaning. Don't try to do so much at once, that can get extremely overwhelming. Try one task at a time. Seeing that you can accomplish just one thing, can make you feel successful, which can make you feel good about yourself and what you have done! If you can, try one more task -- rinse and repeat if you can!
