With the revamp of the achievements there have been many changes. There are still many missing, and many off counts. The issue I'm talking about doesn't have to do with the bugs. I really, really, really hate that finishing the achievement qualifications doesn't register until you go to your achievements and view the requirements.

Adding the final item in a collection achievement should give me that achievement. I shouldn't have to go babysit the achievement page to make sure I get what I already earned.

Spot on. There are still probably a hundred or so achievements that I am missing, but going back and forth to check a list (that doesn't match up in the same order) is something I just don't have the time to do.

It wouldn't be such a big deal if you just had to visit the Achievements homepage every now and again to collect the achievements, but it's stupid that you have to go through and actually check up on them.

Or is it just me that has to open the "required items" list to check them off?

I BELIEVE it is set up this way because the old way was harder on the servers. Instead of constantly checking if you got the achievement now the site only has to when you click a link... If this is in fact why it is the way it is currently, I don't mind it myself.

It seems like players are going to have to get used to doing things the harder way now that Subeta staff is getting around to making changes to the site so that it runs better.

I find it a bit annoying that for achievements with a "required list", I have to open that up to get the achievement. For example, last week I earned several of the lifelike dolls achievements - but I had to open up the spoiler to get them once I had all the required dolls in my wardrobe.

I don't mind it at all. I don't like that the link to view the requirements disappears after you close it the first time, but I have no problem with the achievements being awarded by viewing the requirements.

I don't mind doing this for new achievements - I am still annoyed that the "Convert" thing for achievements didn't work 100% and now am required to manually go through them all. And the last time I tried to, the second page wouldn't load.

I've just convinced myself I am not missing any.

Just like i remember reading somewhere that it was changed to put less strain on the servers. Wasn't this why the entire achievement system was revamped in the first place?

Either way, it's a small sacrifice i'm willing to make to support the big picture working better.

Generally I'm okay with the new system and, except for one Achievement, I don't know or really care about if I falsely have or don't have a couple of them.

However, my "Free all the Fairies!" achievement is broken and regardless how often I click on the updating link it doesn't help. Unfortunately I'm close to hit the 1,000 (and the Luminaire layout) so tbh this is disheartening especially since this is a known bug not only affecting me which people have been posting about for weeks now.

Oh god, having to click on the required links isn't a big deal, but when I do, the freaking page duplicates all the achievements the rest of the way down. :| WHY DO YOU DO THAT, ACHIEVEMENT PAGE?!

With the category and search options, it's easy to find specific achievements, so there isn't a significant amount of time wasted. From there, it's a single click on the spoiler to activate the achievement. No biggie, in my opinion.

Really, I wonder how many players know this is even a thing. Yeah, the regulars and dedicated players are going to know, but beyond that? I'm sure many players are missing achievements that they've earned.

I really find this annoying. Some of the achievements credit you as soon as you get them (questing is one that I know about off the top of my head) but others I have to track down on the achievement page, and click on 'required items' to claim them. I'm sure there are ones that I've earned that I don't have, but I'm not going to go through and click every single achievement to check.

And has a point. What about new/casual players? They sure aren't going to know that they have to go to the achievement page and click on the required items tab to get their achievements.

I also echo the comments about the duplicates on the achievements being listed, and that when you click 'close' on the list of required items it disappears entirely.

I don't even know how people are expected to go about doing this themselves. I don't have the time to check off over 1500 achievements that I have to make sure I'm not missing any! Come on.

The new achievements system is just utter garbage. Looking through the achievements takes a month to load, there's no progress kept track of for many, you have to babysit them, and the page still displays stupidly.

I know this is not the suggestion/thread issue, but I would -love- it if the old layout was updated to match the new so I could check mine. Between that and duplicates in the new layout I haven't bothered, even though I believe I am missing some.

As far as having to click to be awarded? I don't personally mind it. If it's something I'm working on, I am checking the progress regularly anyways. If not, it's just a nice little surprise.
