I didnt see a post like this so... I really NEED an option to stick someone anonymously!!! There is a friend I stick stickers to, but she always gives items back and I feel like she is always giving me more then the stickers are worth, so I just want to stick her anonymously :P And why not? It is like a gift aswell right? Yes she can place the stickers I gifted her anonymously through the giftcentre in the trades, but she never does XD I just want to stick people anonymously please! 😩

There should be something that when you click on the sticker you will get two options: One - add to friends collection album Two - add to friends collection album anonymously

And more options would be:

And I want this suggestion so badly. Would give me the chance to stick my friends heaps of stickers without getting involved in a gift war. Because it usually escalates quickly gifts 10 stickers gets item back worth way more gifts more stickers gets more items back -100 mil later-

Man, I dunno. Awhile back a friend of mine was getting harassed by 5 or 6 users who were all sticking him over and over with what they eventually concluded to be "rude" stickers - like, tens to hundreds of iterations of the Boo Sticker, Ew Sticker, Thumbs Down Sticker, and the one with the fat bird or rodent or whatever. I know it's a rare situation and I know it was a small handful of jerks being jerks, but I would think if somebody was able to do that anonymously, it would feel even worse. Maybe if there were a way to opt out of anonymous stickers, kind of like opting out of receiving gifts from non-friends or anonymous gifts?

Admittedly I don't use the sticker function practically at all so I don't really have any excitement for it :/

As long as the there is a disable and report option I wouldn't mind

Some people don't like gifts at all and would rather not have them, and since there is no way to remove stickers from a collection someone could try harrassing someone through the letter stickers

You can stick people rude stickers but also rude gifts and here you do have an option to do it anonymously, so I dont see the difference there...

I just understood why is r98. Because it's part of so many potential terms for harassing.

I'm hoping that was the reasoning they used too, although I just assumed K for Keith.

Either way I still think it is a valid though before allowing users to permanently add collection items to other people's accounts.

I only give support to this if turning it off is an option, because I immediately thought about how easy it'd be for someone to stick someone else with rude stickers. I received a creepy gift once and staff told me they couldn't do anything unless the user message that came along with it was malicious. I imagine stickers would work the same way, given that they don't have user messages attached to them and are just site items, so I'd expect an option to shut it off as a means to deal with that, especially considering stickers are permanent on the account once they're stuck.

About the suggestion, I'm ok with it (and can understand why people would want it, I've wondered about that myself) but it must come with options similar to the ones attached to gifts. As long as you can block it from non friends / maybe opt out entirely / report harassment (which means staff must always keep full logs), I think it should be good (:

edit I totally foresee a "been anonymously sticked" topic, following the "been anonymously gifted" one XD Besides preventing gift wars, it could be an interesting way to interact with other users!

I'd like this as well, as long as there was a way to toggle it. I'd also love it if the wording was changed from 'Send to Buddy' to 'Stick to Buddy'. Bothers me every time.

I like this idea, and it doesn't seem like too much of an issue to give it a toggle option, like you can do with choosing not to accept gifts from people who aren't on your friends list.

I don't like this. I just see it turning into some people sticking rude stickers on people anonymously and staff may or may not do anything about it at all, considering the attitude I've encountered when it comes to receiving rude anonymous gifts.

Getting rude gifts is one thing, you can just sell or delete them. You can't delete stickers.

But I would really love to anon stick people. Ugh.

If you can opt out of getting anon gifts there shouldn't be a problem with having the option to opt out of anon stickers.

This is actually why I stopped sticking my friends randomly. They would then stick me back with more expensive stickers and there goes a sticker war. I just sometimes want to stick someone without them feeling obligated to stick me back.

I agree with this. Whenever I stick something to a friend, they always give something back. It'd be cool if there was a whole new sticker interface, like an entirely new menu for unused stickers, where you could give it to a friend, anonymously, or (I think you should be able to) put it into your own collection.

As long as people who don't want random stickers can opt out, I'd love to see this suggestion implemented!

I like this idea, but only if there is also an option to turn this off.
