Is there a way to equip weapons to your pets so that they show up in the pet's profile? If so, how do you do it? Thanks.

No, that was done away with when the armory came around. You can equip things like potions and pylonics and they'll show up, but not multi-use weapons.

potions pylonics and shards have that as a menu choice in their item box when you click on them.

You could code your petpage so it shows your pet has those weapons equipped? I dunno, you may have to file a ticket to see if this qualifies as a misrepresentation or breaks the rules in any way. Overlays are allowed so it would seem find to me, but I battle with my pets, so if I saw that I'd suppose it was not really equipped and is just part of the petpage. TPTB may have another idea.
