Subeta has thousands of items. Every month we get more, adding and adding to the pile. And that's great! It is, however, an endless cycle of moremoremore. There are enough items for a user to never see them all. Looking through the shops I can see so many old items that need revamping... I can't help but think I would give up some of those new items just to see some of these items be brought up to the site standard. Some of them have so much potential! It's really been on my mind as I come back and get more active.
So, what I am suggesting is a 'Recycling Month' where, aside from the Monthly Collection in the Cash Shop it's all old items being revamped and temporarily re-released. There are items in every single category that are suitable: wearables, toys, food, even old Cash Shop items. By setting aside a specific period of time to work on these a larger amount of them could be fixed. It would also benefit newer players who have never had a chance to acquire these items, putting a small amount into circulation. Certain items are almost impossible to find due to the clearing of old, inactive accounts and while that is a perk of staying fairly active for years it is a bummer for other players.
This could be accomplished many different ways: Token Shop re-releases, special revamped items given out by Quests or restocked for a limited period of time, a Crystal Shop-centric event... I bet I could think of endless little places to start. Anyone else have any ideas about this?
Yes to revamp, no to rerelease
We cannot decide everything around the newbies.
Typically (at least for the past two or so years) revamped items are done over the summer, which is nice since there usually isn't as much to do.
I like it like that. As for re-releasing them, if the price on items is extremely off or unbuyable then it would bbe nice for the staff to add some more, but I don't think every single revamped item needs to be really added to the shops.
Re-release, it would depend on what exactly ..
Yeah, I'm gonna say no to rereleases. Staff has that pretty well under control imo, with putting older items in to the Token Shop/Crystal Shop/seasonal event shops/etc. as they see fit
Though I also wouldn't want to skip a montly collection just to revamp some random items.
