Boy I hope this hasnt been requested to death already, I did go back many pages and didnt see anything.

I would love for our sticker albums to work like the plushies, beanbags etc where only ONE of each sticker can be added, and it would tell the person stickering that we already have that sticker.

While its nice for people to want to give us stickers, Im bugged that sometimes we already have 2-3-4 of them already :)

No way, it forces people to collaborate together.

If you want a collection you have to complete on your own, you have tiles, beanbags, treading cards, pumpkins, bobbleheads, pastries and plushies.

Also, having only one of each ruins people sending cute little messages like "H A P P Y B I R T H D A Y" since you have two A, two P and two Y

Don't support. I'd rather not get stickers I already have, but honestly I still don't mind at all seeing as it'll still count towards the sticker achievement (which counts total, not unique)

I don't really mind duplicates of stickers, because I get them sometimes as a nice gesture from strangers and I don't really care if it's something I already have in that case. It's cute either way.

I WOULD however really like some different sorting options for them, especially since wishlists no longer have the "you have this item!" feature. I've always thought it was a giant pain to keep track of which ones you have and which ones you don't.

It's never been that much of an issue with me that I get stickers I already have.

That said, I'm in the same boat as Kestrel in that I'd like sorting options for them since every once in a while I feel like massive sticker sorting.

I wouldn't like to see this happen. It could be a problem with the sticker task from Major Drills.

Definitely up for better sorting options though, and an easier way to check what stickers your friends already have. I don't mind sticking duplicates of common ones, but it's a pain checking large collections for rarer stickers. I'd love a search function.

Ok well it was just an idea, something that I would have liked, obviously not a good one with all the rejections on the subject :)

Isn't there a stack Stickers selection you can make so you only see one of each?

Subetalodge lets you make a checklist of stickers you already have. It's a really useful site when it comes to things like these. ^-^

The only reason I can't support this, is because of what is said above. You can't make cute messages with your stickers. Like if I wanted to put "Amanda" or something. I wouldn't be able to. Or If I just had a crazy obsession with how certain ones looked and wanted to collect them or have others stick me them, it would just be a bummer. :(

There are people that actually want more than one of certain stickers though.

And how would this impact those albums that have more than one of a certain sticker? Would the sticker be removed? Returned to the sender? What if the sender quit?

This would cause too many issues I think, for far too little benefit

I would love to be able to remove stickers though, doubles only.

I actually love having multiples of stickers, especially the letter and number stickers because I can create seasonal words and phrases that can be displayed on my profile in the sticker content section. So I would be really bummed if we could only have one of each sticker. u_u

Part of me really likes this idea, but everyone makes good points about why it wouldn't work. Maybe if you could opt out of doubles? I don't really mind the idea of having multiples, but it does drag the doubled sticker from where you've placed it to the bottom of the collection when someone gives you the second one, and if, like me, you have a big sticker collection and you keep them organized, it's a huge pain to put it back every time.

I definitely like the opt-out option. Sometimes people like to have multiples of stickers, like if you want to spell a word, for example. Usually multiples bother me, but I just spelled my name and it has two As, so I had to suck it up (I also apparently had an S and didn't notice). XD

Also the sticker album needs a better way to organize it... I'm sure this has been suggested before. I stopped trying to organize my album forever ago, it's just too much of a pain in the butt.

I don't like the opt-out option.

Not everything has to be toggleable. Not everything needs to be an option. I don't want to go and get confused about who has it opted in and who doesn't.

Sometimes, some things have to be all or nothing.

I would just like to be able to remove duplicates, they irk me.
