Since it can be triggering to certain people, I will post the content under a spoiler.
I'm heartbroken and just really done with society and parents that aren't ready to love their childrens no matter what they choose to be or what they are.

Leelah Alcorn, a 17 yo transgendered person didn't deserve what happened. That person had the right to live and to be free and proud like everyone else.

Article 1 Article 2 Article 3

To all transgendered lovelies; you are NOT a mistake and you are fabulous and wonderful and never give up. You deserve to live like everyone else, you have the right to be whatever you want to be! Same goes for everyone in general.

If you ever struggle, please seek help!
I don't think I have the right words to describe how I feel about this. Having lost a grandparent for the same reason, this just hits me like a sock full of quarters. My mother's mother committed suicide hoping that in the next life she would be reborn as a man because feeling like a man had been so painful for over 60 years. Whether it is our children or our grandparents the loss is razor-keen.

(Note: I'm using the pronouns she had us use.)

That poor girl... I can't put the rest of what I've felt about this into words. Other than oh, God, that poor girl.

So, they had a son. And they could have had a daughter. But now they have neither.

Nice job, "parents".

I read her tumblr and am just fuming. There should be laws against punishing your kids because they're not cis or straight. Raise your kids however you want, but there are some things you do not punish for.

And the whole "God doesn't make mistakes" thing. The fuck is that? If your baby was born with a heart condition and needed medication and surgery would you just shrug and be like "Well, God doesn't make mistakes."? I do believe that God has a plan for everything, but you don't let someone suffer or to tell them they're wrong for suffering.

This just makes me so mad. She was beautiful. She already had feminine facial features. With treatment she'd have been the beautiful girl she wanted to be. Instead they made her feel like there wasn't any hope she'd ever have the life she wanted and that even God didn't approve of her. I hope they're more gentle with their other children.

This is heartbreaking. Poor girl. I feel it's even worse because her parents will disrespect her as a woman and have her buried as a male. Poor girl. Honey you can transition even as an old woman. What an awful awful way to go, an awful way to feel. Poor girl. Fucked up parents.

It is an awful situation all around. I wonder if her parents will realize what they have done and the amount of pain their child was in. I also find it appalling that she ended her life the way she did. That truck driver is going to be messed up for life. My dad works for UPS and a truck driver he is friends with had a man step out on the highway in front of him earlier this year. He was an absolute wreck.

This is just terrible, and awful. How can parents even do that to their kids?

They shouldn't have more kids after this if they're so hateful.

And this is one of the many reasons why I don't give a single fuck about anyone's "right" to their shitty "opinions." Someone's "opinion" on someone else's EXISTENCE is not equal to that person's right to exist as they are.

As someone who's heard endless shit about, "You're physically a woman so that's what you are despite what your mental illness says," and similar things all my life, everyone who thinks like that is worthless to me. I've been told -- even by people who show me the most basic amount of respect by calling me by the correct pronouns -- to "put up with it" and "They're entitled to their opinion." Sure they are, legally. I'm also entitled, legally, to tell them they're a piece of shit and that I want nothing more to do with them. I don't care who they are, they will be cut the fuck out of my life if they treat me like shit.

Sorry about the rant, but as someone who's trans I'm fucking tired of people treating us like shit because of their worthless "opinion" and that goes double for "parents" who treat their kids like shit.

I will love you forever if you trade me:
