I've been wondering what happens if someone doesn't open the gifts under their tree. Do they just not get their items? Are they automatically placed in their inventory? I've gifted a few people who aren't too terribly active, under the assumption that the gits would just be deposited into their inventory for whenever they came online, but due to the change, I'm not sure what will happen and have been curious. O:
You can see your gifts from the previous year, and it says that they'll appear in their inventory if it's their first time on that page. This is the page, in case it's past Luminaire and your friends need a link c:
[edit] So looking at that page now, it's not displaying the right gifts...not sure what's up with that, because supposedly it was working before this year's gifts were unlocked (like, it was displaying the 2013 gifts) ._. Sorry if that's not remotely helpful then OTL
Oh, so that page still works (or will, once it's fixed)? I wasn't sure if that was the case since they changed things around (or at least, I think they did, gifts were automatically placed in inventories before this year weren't they?? I can't remember anymore LMAO)!!
THANK YOU FOR THE HELP, THOUGH!!
I think you still had to go to the page but tbh I don't remember either lmao. I do know that posted that link somewhere earlier this month though, so hopefully it should work :x But you're welcome~
It's actually this page that displays this year's gifts :)
Right, but that might not work after Luminaire. The page I linked shows the previous year's gifts (or it's supposed to), which right now is 2014's gifts (but it's not showing the right ones, at least for me)
Unless something changes, that should work all year. I've had that bookmarked since at least last year, and it worked all year long. The other page you linked was one keith posted because when trees first opened, there was an error and people got things from last year in addition to this year. That other page was meant to help them sort them out. Granted, this may change, but for the moment, I think it's a safe assumption that the one I linked will work.
