Could someone please explain this to me? Checking out the achievements I've realized that I haven't been around for any of this AT ALL. Well maybe a bit? I literally have two achievements from this, one for getting infected and one for a cure. Nothing else, not even a single count on anything. There's some achievements that are retired but there are a lot that are, apparently, still active so I don't know what I'm to expect when February comes around.

I'm just trying to figure out how much time I should expect to spend on here come February. I have two out of town trips so I'm just trying to plan ahead. My time management during Morostide was horrible.

There are no more permanent zombies. Now that there are claimable skins in the wardrobe I don't think anyone really knows what to expect as far as how zombies will work this time around.

But, in addition to the potential zombie factor you kiss other users on the forums for candy hearts which can be spent in the L'amour Parlor. Generally all users will have access to (or a chance to have access to) the current year of the Zombie Den. In 2013 everyone had access for the duration of Survival. In 2014 we could do quests to get potions and turn ourselves into zombies to gain access to the 2014 shop later on, the quests asked for organs harvested from other users via the forums.

Some of these you will be able to earn this year. However, many you won't.

Any achievement that includes "...during the Shadowglen Underground release" are retired even if they don't say retired. These would only have been available during a specific plot event. Same with any achievement that specifies a year (like 2010)

"have your (some organ) taken" and Bubbles quests, may or may not be available, depending on if staff choose to continue doing pandemic this way.

The various kissing achievements should all be available again this year.

Anything about pastries, other than the pastry collection itself are probably not available.

The survival memorials should all be available, may even be active right now. Leave a survival flower at the memorial and see if your count goes up.

As for how you manage your time, there's really only so much that can be guessed at ahead of time. There may or may not be a plot along with the event. We have no way of knowing until and unless staff let us know. And if there is a plot, it might require a lot of time, or only a few minutes every couple of days.
