Hey-di-ho, there, neighborinos!

I'm a 24 year old female, and I'm looking primarily for a role play over Skype or E-mail. I've been role playing for about 10+ years, and I consider myself to be proficient with not just my writing, but my ability to contribute to a plot and develop my characters over the course of a story. What all of that means is that I take my writing with you seriously, and I'm not about to leave you hangin'!

So! You may be wondering: What does Silver (Or Elven, but I prefer Silver) like to write? The answer is: All sorts of things! Imma list them for you.

Fandoms

[li]Dragon Age ( Origins, Dragon Age 2, or Dragon Age: Inquisition) [li]Harry Potter (We'll need to discuss the particulars in this, because I find that playing during the time of the books/movies gets messy unless there are some big changes.) [li]Lord of the Rings (I'd prefer to stick with the Third or Fourth age. I've read the Silmarillion, but I'm a bit too rusty on my knowledge to write it comfortably.) [li]The Elder Scrolls (Oblivion or Skyrim) [li]A Song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones) [li]The Vampire Chronicles

I will happily write OC based role plays as well, but I prefer for the setting to be supernatural (with vampires/werewolves/etc), medieval, medieval fantasy, or some sort of period piece or fantasy setting. I don't really care for modern or slice of life role plays. Sorry!

About My Characters

I take great pride in my characters. I role play both male and female characters of all ages and personality types. I have a huge toy chest full of characters to pull from, but I'm never afraid to create characters on the spot, either.

I can also play canon characters, although I prefer not to do so from Harry Potter. My rule with canon characters is this: Although I enjoy writing canon characters, if you expect me to take on a canon character, I expect that you do the same (save for special circumstances). I've spent too many role plays where I was tasked with writing every important character for my partner to have their original characters interact with/romance, and it's not very much fun on my end. I know this probably makes me sound grouchy, but I am in all actuality very nice. I try to put my foot down right away, or else I have a tendency to let everyone walk all over me.

[li] I don't mind periods of inactivity, but if you are going to be unable to post for a couple of days, please let me know ahead of time so I don't worry about you! [li] I love OOC chatter. I love getting to know my partners, and I love gushing about our characters on the side. I get SUPER into whatever we write, and I like to have someone to share that excitement with! [li] I only do para style writing. I'm not a stickler on matching post lengths or meeting a length requirement, but please keep in mind I won't give you anything less than what I think is good. I only ask that you do the same!

what are you interested in roleplaying for TVC?

For TVC, I could do any number of things. I've done role plays that were OC x canon before, (where I played the canon), and I've done purely OC role plays which are simply set in the same.. Universe, I guess. Canons have made cameos, but not been the focus of the story. I tend to like to either play during the events of Queen of the Damned, or, anytime after. I am, of course, open to suggestions! Generally, however, I do like the whole mortal x vampire dynamic, and I'd be hoping to do a plot where an immortal becomes fascinated with a mortal, or vice versa.

So, I guess my question is: Did you have anything you were chomping at the bit to try?

I'm up for changing the course of the story as well, since I agree it otherwise gets rather messy. Would you prefer to have canon characters, or Original?

Hi! For Harry Potter, I prefer to focus on original characters. That goes for the two of us! I think Harry Potter offers a great sandbox, and it's fun to build characters up from the ground up. There are a lot of opportunities to make our own story, so that's something I like to pursue!

I definitely agree :) I've played a couple times with OC (and canon) characters with Harry Potter. I suppose it depends entirely on the era we'd like to do (Mauraders,Golden trio, Next gen), and such :)

I think that next generation would probably be my preference. I really enjoy creating new plot, as opposed to going by the old, tried-and-true story sequence. Lets us start fresh! :D How do you feel about that?
