So every year, Darkheart shows up on one of the Luminaire days and kidnaps Melody, then gives us coal-themed gifts and makes things explode in our face. It's actually kind of funny, until we read this:

"Melody smiles and reaches into her bag, extending the following to you."

Uh. That's OBVIOUSLY not Melody. Yet it's been this way since I joined Subeta years ago.

Then the next day, Melody is back with no explanation whatsoever, no apologies on not being there the previous day, nothing. She just returns like nothing ever happened. That always makes me a bit sad, even though I know it's because the developers of Subeta don't really want to (or can't) generate unique messages for any particular day. (Aside from Darkheart showing up.)

So I guess what I'm saying is that I'd like that message fixed, and maybe have Melody comment on her absence the day after. The latter is probably too much to ask, but at least do something about the first?

Yep - both needs to be changed. Though...I could've sworn that somewhere Melody explains what Darkheart did to her and being the cheerful and kind person she is, she waved it off and said something about feeling sorry for him....?

I'd like this. It never made much sense to have Melody just...not say anything about people receiving coal instead of her nice gifts. Not even an apology from such a sweet girl! :p

I agree I always wondered about this. I also wondered if there would be an event or plot about it.
