i thought it might be nice to split this machine into old Subeautique only and old costume trunk only. The prize pool is has over 3000 potentials and will grow with every retirement (costume trunks account for approximately ~1960 alone) which is an insane amount of items to have in a lucky dip.

Users might be more tempted to use the machines that way if they knew they were guaranteed (for example) an item from the source they wanted. What does everyone else think?

If they split the categories then it wouldn't be the same as the Gifts of Fashions Past.

There could be two machines.

1. Gifts of Fashions Past - Subeautique

2. Gifts of Fashions Past - Costume Trunks

Yeah that would be nice but then retired subq would plummet in value, I think.
