P.S. Possibly unpopular opinion time: personally, the rare and unexplained complete anthro NPCs around Subeta still seem completely out of place to me.

I never really thought about that anthro NPC thing before... I guess it does seem out of place when 95% of the NPC's are humanoid.

Anyways, the revamp is great! All the little details really bring it together. I can't believe how old the other one was, gosh!

I was glad to see new art for him. There's still a few NPCs with art that old, so I wonder if they too will eventually look up to date.

Muuuuch better. Although his feet seem broken in that position. They don't bend up/inward that much on their own.

Looking good. I wish he'd look more angrier/badass? Instead it looks like he's a little shit (peharps he is). I also wish the sai were pointier instead of round-ish.

His revamp looks awesome! I'm with everyone else thinking his feet/boots could've been at a slightly different angle and maybe his eyes looking more fierce, but other than that I love the revamp <3

SO excited to see him get revamped. I honestly never even registered him as a demi before (maybe it was the anime hair instead of an actual demi mane). I'm glad he looks so great now.

I'm also glad he has sai because inexplicable ninja weapons are always welcome in my book.

Other than a few minor details, this revamp is a huge improvement.

You're definitely not alone with that thought, unpopular or otherwise haha. I was just talking with the other day about this, and how it really bothers me.

If the anthros were pet species we couldn't own (much like the battle challengers, for example) then it wouldn't be so weird; just like like they're another race that happens to be furry. Or a higher animal race (something akin to Goofy verses Pluto, both dogs/canines but not the same species) But they're not.

They're like Demi's and Anyus and it's really awkward to me because whoa-- I own a demi, but he's a demi? Can he speak demi, is he like my pet demi? Can he speak Demi AND whatever Subetians speak (human?) How come the subetapedia artical about Demi's (or Anyu's for that matter) don't mention how some of the breed has evolved (or encountered magic, since evolution = more than one species, but I digress) while others haven't/it isn't common?

... how do they feel about people who own pet's of their kind? I really wish staff would reconsider this and alter the current anthro's to either be humanoid/be partially humanoid (like Saytrs or Centaurs for example)/to be a different animal species that can't be adopted/created as pets because it's really just like "oh yeah I like anyus they're cool I had one them I took it to the zapper and had it mutated a dozen times... no hard feels though right? Even though I basically destroyed your cousin and left him for dead in the pound :'D? So how about that beer.."

Oh wow, a revamp actually making something better? I guess it's possible for a remake to beat the original.
