Last year (I think) we got ice skates and costumes, which were really cool! It's almost winter again, and this year, I'd love to see more winter sports represented - especially skis and snowboards (perhaps along with their respective boots and other equipment?). Cross country skis, snowmobiles, sleds, and snow tubes are also possibilities. This also opens up options for snow sports related backgrounds, maybe as TS or CS items.

(Semi-related question: What's the turnaround for accepted item suggestions turning into items? Should I have maybe suggested this a few months ago instead of now?)

I think these ideas might be fun.

if an idea is really cool, I've seen it done in a month, but that seems to be pushing it. My guess (and it is a guess) from seeing holiday-related suggestions is that it takes them around three to six.

The snowmobile could work in the same position as the sprocket motorcycles. The HA workable box is kinda narrow for most skis and snowboards. Maybe have them include boots on the HA but the HA is holding them vertically or they're stuck slanted in the snow? This would take two layers or stretch the limits of Foreground, though. Ski poles could be Held items, or Hand items if they include gloves.

We did get a sled from the snowball fight this year 2014, yay!
