I was at home alone earlier (well my 3 kids were here but they're all under age 2, and they were sleeping so, that doesn't count) I was in my bathroom looking in the mirror when suddenly something happened that made my stomach drop and chills run through me. The closet door behind (reflected in the mirror) started to creep open. So naturally my heart jumped into my throat and into my butt at the same time and I stifle a scream while freezing in utter terror. Then I turn around because my senses kick in and I realize that whether I'm facing some strange force or a serial killer or whatever it could possibly be I had to do SOMETHING. AND... Ladies and gentlemen... I kid you not.. what slinks out of that closet but the immense white, wispy form of... my fat cat. Now I'm a grown woman and let me tell you, I seriously thought something from a horror movie was coming for me earlier today. BLkdsahdklafjk anyone else have moments like that?

A couple of days ago I had my closet door pop open while I was laying in bed... I still have no idea why it opened but it scared the crap out of me. I feel like a big baby because I'm scared to sleep in there alone or with with the bedroom door shut now.

Sometimes my son asks me why great grandpa is in the room. (My husband's great grandfather used to live in the house we live in, and has since passed away) This is the point where I, a grown woman, grab up my two year old and flee whatever room we're in in utter terror until my husband gets home to save me. So yeah, I understand feeling like a big baby. This one day I needed to do laundry but on the way past my son stopped and looked in and said "Hey, what's great grandpa doing in the laundry room" so... no laundry until my husband came home from work.

I think that's super creepy... I've had similar things happen but I just pretend like it's in my head, lol. My grandpa past away in this house and I think that makes the strange things that happen feel more real.

I always convince myself it's in my head. Because I'm afraid I'd move back in with my elderly mother so I'd never have to be by myself if the things I'm scared of were real.
