I'd love to see some kind of hover previews for these. If we can have item hovers for the tree ornaments, then this should be doable shouldn't it?

This would be kinda cool, actually.
Please please please. I love your preview thread, but there are still some I'm not sure about. I've just been sticking with my favorite snowball from that thread.
I wouldn't mind seeing this so long as the previews are distinguishable from wearable previews (that way I don't think a snowball is a wearable, rather than a snowball)!
Especially with the addition of the hovers for ornaments, I would love this. At least before that, I could view the ornaments on Subetalodge, but there's nothing for snowballs... just hitting and waiting.
So I'm all for this. :)
Oh yes, please! The only way before I could check what a snowball looked like was to pelt myself with one. lol Not quite how I want to check.

+1 to this idea too. I had been thinking it and now I know I'm not the only one to want it as an option.
Read that again.
Go Bills!
I'm resitant to this idea even though it seems really grand, because a snowball is one use and only temporarily wearable. A Preview that is useful would also show where it hits in addition to what it looks like. This would make it seem like a snowball is a piece of clothing that you can shove in your Wardrobe and then use over and over again. If there was a way to mark on the preview that it's a preview-if-thrown, then a hover would be OK by me.
Instead, I propose that TPTB create a link from the Snowtapult or Emporium page that takes you to a page that has them all already thrown so you can see what they look like on random HAs with a snoball-specific color-contrasting backdrop, in the same order as they're being sold (instead of alpha or item ID, if those are different).
