I recently painted over my lovely Pokemon tote so that I can redo it in a more marvelous way and with better color. But now I can't make the bag unstiff from the acrylic paint I used, does anyone have an idea as to how I can make it less stiff and more (maybe flexible?) . I really want to show it off again but not in its current condition.

I paint my jeans with acrylic paint and hand wash them. I usually use a liquid softening agent (such as fleecy) to unstiff them.

I've never had much luck with acrylic, but you can try fabric paint if the acrylic ends up washing out.
