The like button that you see on various parts of the site (forums, news comments, avatars) has been fixed. Calculating "total" should no longer be a problem. Unfortunately, this means those stats were reset :(

So, get to liking to fill those little heart meters filled back up around the site :)! Also, do you have any suggestions where a heart/like button might be valuable?

The like button was added to pet profiles. You can remove it with the following CSS .pet_like { display: none; }

edit: What was wrong with it before? I never noticed. Also, does the count HAVE to be reset every day or can/will it stay FOREVER once it is liked? Before, if I liked a post, I noticed the post's likes were reset to 0 the next day. I'm pretty sure.

we can like pets already, yes? I need to look. I somehow thought that the only thing likeable was HAs and posts. Shows how observant I've been apparently.

There are too many likes and hearts on the site already. I signed up for subeta, not fb.

what about the friends feed? so we could like our friends activity, for example if they got a new achievement, new pet, very good score at a game, it would be nice to have this feature there..

Does this mean my "Avatar Overall Likes" will work now?

Well that's great! I remember getting likes and seeing them disappear the next day.

I really want to like pets too, as already mentioned. Other than that I could only think of liking user profiles useful, but I wouldn't want that to mess up codings and such.

I'm going to miss my likes too, though. Ah well. Maybe it's good motivation to continue to make great HAs on the regular.

You should add that code to the OP, a lot of people are going to be looking for it now and it may get lost in posts.
