Anyone get a new "catbroken" ornament?

In the comments in the News, implies they're not broken/unactivated. But also in the comments there are nearly four hundred of the old boxes opened, and nobody has gotten one. I've got nearly eight hundred Old Boxes of Ornaments stashed away, but I'm not going to waste them if she's just plain wrong.
So is she just too busy and giving us a snowjob? Has anybody gotten one of these yet?
We have a lot of ornaments that are released from Melody's box. The chances of getting a new item from a box that randomly gives you an item out of like 300 items is pretty slim, especially since the items are weighted a bit. I haven't made the cat items super rare to get, but they aren't on the super common end of things, either. It's only been three hours since their release. Give them a little more time. :)

I'm still curious if anyone has gotten one ever, because that'll tell me how much sP I'm willing to part with to buy one and give all of us an idea of just how rare they are.

I opened about 19-20 boxes so far and got no new ones.

It took me about 250-something boxes to get one of them. The Broken Bead Chain.
xD this is really lame. 250 boxes for one new item? This is definitely super rare. To get 250 boxes a user would have to buy a box every ten minutes for two straight days.
Again, we have a lot of items coming out of those boxes -- think of it from a math stand point. I've opened about 100 and gotten almost a different item from each one. I think I've only gotten two doubles from them. Give it a few days and you'll see some in shops etc.
Well, at least they aren't BHH items? x)

I just got a . I haven't opened more than 20 or so today, so they ARE out there. ^^
Yes, I got the Shattered Glass Bauble on the first or second try. It's on my tree now. :)

I opened 70 of them and got the Broken Bead Chain as well. I think that is looking like the most common one.

So far I've found zero. Not sure how many boxes I've opened, but it's a pretty good number. Got some doubles of some of the others though. Too bad I don't need any of them. XD

I just came to ask the same thing as well. I've been opening lots of boxes since the cats were released, and I haven't found a single one. I don't understand why things have to be weighted at all? Everybody wants the new ones, and instead we're getting truckloads and truckloads of old ones. Prices will still be high on the new ones, even if they wouldn't be weighted. I would love to hear what the reasoning behind that is?
