The Journey (need a better name)

It had been years since the humans came to our planet. They were professionals in the art of combat, yet only three survived. Sent here on a mission from Earth's leaders they were ordered to scout the planet, to see if it was habitable for human kind. The one thing they did not know was that the planet had evolved to prevent what had happened to it billions of years ago. The planet was once inhabited by man. The same thing that is happening on Earth now, had once happened here. The humans polluted the air and water, tore up the forests; they destroyed the land for their own selfish needs. The planet fought back and soon mankind had disappeared. Then, mankind came again.
The defences the planet created wiped man out one by one. The soldiers did not realize the planet was fighting against them and that it did not want them there. Soon after the ninth soldier died they decided to leave. The survivors decided that it was not worth staying any longer, or maybe they decided it was not what they were looking for. I do not know the answer to that. What I do know is that they are back. The one I saved, and who later repaid the favor, is with them. This time they came with a special request. These humans, these hairless creatures that need to use technology to survive, want to do what no other creature has succeeded at.
They want to travel through hell and visit the other side of the planet..
..and they do not want to go alone.
As you can tell this RP takes place on another planet, and it is not one that is friendly to humans. To make sure all species can join right away it will take place at the start of the journey. I have no idea what will happen so people are free to use creative freedom. I will have an ooc chat forum so it might be best to discuss any ideas there before implementing them. Other than that, go wild! Now, onto the species. I do not have names for the creatues so feel free to throw out ideas xD
Humans. Well this one is self-explanatory. The only rule for the humans is that they are a soldier or scientist.
Wolf creature- They are like wolves, but have lizard skin designs. They have two forms. The normal one where they walk on four legs and seem like normal wolves. The other form is a battle form, where the body changes and they can stand on two legs (think werewolf). I will post an example for my own character.
Cat creature- They are larger cat creatues that have snake skin designs. There are a few rare ones that have poisoned fangs, and even rarer are those that have snakes eyes that paralyze prey.
On the other side of the planet are bear creatures with armadillo type armor on their shoulders, back legs, and back.
Rules: Just follow the site rules and post at least 4-5 sentences per post. I will add stuff as I think of it.

That would be great. I have no official form. people are free to post what they like about their characters. I know there are people, myself included, that like for people to learn about the characters from role playing instead of all from a form. Here is one of my characters. The cat creatures are exactly the same, but cats and the design can be anything you want. Just no strange fur color xD I

Humble but also a bit hidden, especially when it comes to his past. He fears using his full strength or getting too angry but he will if a loved one is in danger. Some people describe him as strange and unusual. Possibly a bit unstable. History: Reikon is what the other wolves would call a 'Pure'. This means he is only one breed of wolf and not mixed liked most of the others. He used to live with the other Pures until some others accused him of murder. Reikon had no way to defend himself as when he woke up earlier that night there was blood trapped in his claws but the rest had been cleaned away. He remembers nothing else of that night. Not knowing what else to do he ran away and after that learned to survive on his own. To this day he still does not know if he was the cause of the murder but it has haunted his mind ever since.

Personality: Sort of a geeky goof - a mission to this planet has been a life's dream for Kamia. She'd have done just about anything to get aboard this expedition.... though she hadn't expected it to be quite as deadly as it was. Kamia has a comical streak a mile long, and despite the poor conditions, nothing gets her down for very long.[/small]

Name: Eki Species: Cat Creature Status: Single Gender: Male Age: around 20 Eyes: One eye is a light blue the other is orange Build: Scrawny Fur: Dominantly white with an orange patch on the top of his head that covers his ears and an orange and white striped tail. Snake Skin: Sea snake style (very light blue almost white with black stripes). Some patches include around four of his paws and at the base of his tail. General Personality: Eki is usually quiet, preferring to listen to those around him then jump into any given conversation. He is often loyal to a fault to those he considers to be a friend. He has a tendency to act like he is ignoring others but it is due to him being deaf in one ear. He's rather curious and does have a habit of getting himself in trouble because of it.
(I am going to have to try and create his history as I understand more about this world. I am sorry that I don't have one just yet))
No problem. This is my last day of college for this semester and I should be working on a paper. Darn procrastination.. As for history do not worry about it ^^ I have two characters I have been playing around with for close to a year and still don't have a background for them.
