I've noticed that in NPC shops (all shops, but this would really only matter for clothing items in shops) that they don't have the pop-up preview like it would have on any other area of the site. I think that it would be useful for someone browsing a shop and trying to quickly see if something would look good on them or not, especially for shops that have just restocked/have rarer items that may be gone by the time you shop search the item just to see the preview.

I'm not sure how much effort this would take in the coding, or how slow it would make a page load, but user shops have the ability to do this and the pages for those load just fine. I just think it would be a nice feature that would benefit a lot of people. :)

Its been suggested dozens of times before and it's not going to happen - the strain on the servers would be immense. If you want to preview something before you buy it just pop it in the shop search and hover there.

By the time the hover loaded the item would be gone as well.

If any item is rare and you don't like it you can just sell it. At worst you've invested maybe 2-5k

The only way I would ever be like "Yeah, no this is a good idea" is if it was JUST the overlay - No average price or rarity shown.
