Hm. I really want to do a full test run of doing commissions. Like a real trial, for a year. Now that I'm out of high school. I have so many things and ideas I'd like to offer but I feel like the list would be outrageous, would this good or bad?

Here's just a dent of what I have ideas for:

Offering these styles: adventure time chibi semi-realistic my style animal crossing p&S+G

Items: A. sketch page (my style) + few headshots/expressions + fullbody pose + few torso shots + fill up 8x11 page

B. photobooth (my style) + four torso shots my style or semi-realistic

Sketches, Colored sketches, Coloring pages(line art), flat colors, cell shading, full color (basic background), or painting semi-realistic (full body, torso or bust) my style (full body, torso or bust)

Sketches, Colored sketches, Coloring pages(line art) adventure time (fullbody or bust) animal crossing (full body)

Flat or Cellshaded/background p&S+G (full body)

Full color chibi (fullbody)

Oh, and another idea is to do multi outfit/versions and nsfw version etc dakimuras etcetc etc just so many ideas

how do i even organize this I plan on actually doing my own pieces as examples for each of the items i'd offer, that'd be a lot but whatevs. ;w; ' i might just start out with auctions and see how those turn out, idk

I need a deviant art subscription so i can make a pretty journal menu haha!

i know this isn't about pricing atm, but you guys have experience with commission menus to some extent! haha, so help please? ;w;

Hi! That is indeed a lot of options. Adventure Time and Animal Crossing style are very specific styles and because of that I'm not sure how many would be interested considering the state of the art forums nowadays. I'm not sure what p&S+G is though x'D

Chibis, semi realism and your style are always good classic options~

Personally, I would be interested in a sketch page because I love those lol and I also like your multi outfit idea~

I like that you have so many options to choose from but as I said before, the art forums are not as active as they used to be so you might want to limit your options a bit ^^;;

I'm thinking of selling on tumblr and DA as well? Still good to limit?

Ah on the more active sites I would say definitely go for a lot of options, idk about tumblr since I don't use it much but I get most of my commissions off of dA. dA is such a large community I think you shouldn't have any problems with offering that many choices C:

dA and tumblr will literally be your best friends. Subeta's an all right way to make a small fan base, but it's really difficult to get return customers here, what with all the freezing and such that we have. If I were you, I'd choose the five (yeah? maybe more) top styles that I'm the most comfortable with, and have those for sale. Maybe give discounts if people buy more than 2 commissions? Incentivise it! I know I'm always more likely to buy if I know that either the art is good or I'm getting a good deal. I hope this helps!
