Is something wrong with Saggi?

I've been noticing that his sP prize amounts seem to be lower than usual which is making me lose profit on some of his quests, as the amount I predict isn't really accurate anymore. Like today he gave me 50k on a quest. I've never seen him dip so low before! Is this a bug or some sort? Or perhaps it's just random and everything is fine?
that's not actually technically true though for Saggi, his prizes are based on a percentage return of the rarity of the items he asks for. At least that's how they have been for as long as I can remember. I know it was tweaked several times when quests were revamped. That being said, I have also noticed that I'm having a lot harder time getting decent profit from him. His prizes are overall lower and don't seem to be as consistent across the board. Maybe it's because we had his quests a couple of weeks in a row not too long ago, and those items are still pretty inflated? Luminaire inflates stuff too, I'm not sure.
I heard he was revamped a few times. I also heard that he used to give out prize money based on the amount of items he asked for, but I'm not sure if that's true or not. I noticed that his prizes seemed to be flipped. Like rather than giving a low amount for a quest that only costs 20k, he gives a high amount but for a quest that costs 100k, he gives out a low amount. I typically try not to spend over 10-30k per item for him, but since for so long I'd usually make a profit from "going out on a limb", I kinda went slack on that for a little bit. I was a little shocked when I ended up spending about 120k on one of his quests and he only gave back 50k. It was alarming how low he got, to me anyway. I know the other quests are random, but even for them I can usually guess what the outcome will be. I don't know what the deal is, but I figured a board might give some answers, heh.
Pay attention to the rarity of the items he's asking for. I haven't had any issues with my quests for him, I am actually finding that he's asking for items that are extremely cheap. (Tho now that I've said it I'm sure that will change, Ha!) But I am still making a profile around 1 mil a day. I did have a bad day a couple days ago where I only made about 500K.
