I don't think it wod make any sense to battle Quentin, in the way Chase is an an opponent. Quentin seems like a nice character who hands out amulets on occasion.

I really don't think this is necessary. Quentin is, in general, a nice character. I guess you could argue that Pete is too and he's a battle opponent. I'd feel bad beating up Quentin more than I do Pete though lol.

I would feel bad about fighting Quentin.. even though they always give unfraggable quest rewards, they do also give out amulets and anyone who does that is cool people unworthy of beating up. They seem like a very neutral/un-provoking character, not really the type to rip you off for the lulz. Plus, I do imagine that'd... create a fair amount of.. controversy y'know? Here's an NPC that doesn't identify with a gender to better support equality-- lol jk go beat their face in (I know we have the ability to fight some NPCs, but 1. that's not EVERY NPC, and 2. again, they're don't seem really "come at me bro"esque so I feel it'd be in bad taste).

.... plus there are other NPCs I'd much rather take the face off of like the Mage! Or Blake and his stupid rigged Crypts! Or the Darkheart Phantom or whatever his name is, who is he anyways?? Or even Reischen like orly lemme see how tough you are we'll see who's a warrior.

I don't mind having more battle opponents, but it seems a little out of character for Quentin. Um...any reason you want to battle them other than simply not liking them?

i say set all quest-giver NPCs as battle opponents. my argument is as such:

1. more battle opponents is always a good thing
2. that's it. i dont think i need a second point.

i can't really say i empathise with any of the NPCs so i will feel no remorse in destroying them all in hand to hand combat. i'm all in.

but set reischen as an unlockable, after competing so many thousands of BQs. work your way up to that one.

would love to battle Sebastian Phoenix.

Mmm I'd rather take my frustrations out on the Mage. Now if anyone deserves a punch in the face it's him. :D Sure he gives tomes but half the time you need to go through a shitton of amulets to get one. Unless you're lucky as hell.

I'm ok with this! The more opponents the merrier. If Pete can be an opponent I would hope more "generally good/neutral/un-provoking/out-of-character" NPCs would be too.

I'd like Gym the Trainer to be an unlockable opponent "too good for MY gym?"-kinda thing as well, HECK, I wouldn't mind breaking bratty Cynthia for some candy coated pay outs muhahaha...haha... ha.
