I feel like I always ask about jobs on here at least once a year but most of you on here give really great advice! Anyways, I got hired at a local bank as a full time teller! Tomorrow is my first day and I'm very nervous. I've worked with food for over a year and then a few months of retail. But I don't know much about banks. For those of you who work at a bank or know someone who does, what is it like? Are your days slow, fast, same thing everyday? Is there anything important I should know about working at a bank? Any tips on attire? Thank you so much in advance if you took the time to read this! I know we've all had our "first days of work" and if you don't work at a bank any words of advice for surviving a first day would be great!
Well...Hopefully you did get that advice in time, not accordingly to this post's answers...Aaanyway :D how did it go? Been a few days now, how's life over there, big bank worker? ;) :D
Yeah kind of sad that no one responded haha, but it's all good! My past few days have been boring. They don't really have any computer lessons for me to do, it's all observation and then in the next few weeks going to another town for a hands on training session. But hey, I'm getting paid to sit around and talk to co workers.
