So! My birthday is Saturday, but I'll be working so my wonderful boyfriend decided to take me on a surprise birthday adventure! We ended up at the zoo (I love the zoo so I was overly excited to spend the day there, it was empty and pretty yucky out so we got a rainy day discount and the zoo to ourselves (well, almost haha)!). Long story short, after a small argument about him insisting we go to a staff only section, a zoo keeper showed up and led us into a room where I got the REAL surprise! A SLOTH ENCOUNTER!

He kept this secret for over a month apparently! Apparently my reaction to walking in the room with the sloth was worth every penny, haha! He totally outdid my gift to him this year. I have no idea how I'll outdo this gift! XD

I KNOW AHH. It kept trying to get the zoo keeper to hold her like a baby too, it was freaking adorable. I could barely contain the girlish squeal of excitement. And then when they told me I could give her grapes? Oh lord I must have looked so silly haha. I didn't even know you could DO this kind of thing at our zoo!

my friend took me once to an exotic pet store bc they had a sloth in an enclosure and i cried...if i had been able to feed him it would have been the death of me. youre so lucky and your bf is def a keeper :)
