So they're gorgeous and I'm not sorry I bought them but when I did, I had assumed I was buying a background, what with you calling it a background and the item declaring itself to be a background found in my wardrobe's background category.

But a background would not be in the foreground, covering up my HA completely. Because that's not at all what a background is, it covers up nothing. Certainly, through our wardrobe layers, it can be MADE to cover up things, but naturally, it shouldn't cover anything up. Most especially the central figure, me, my HA. That's a foreground.

So I gotta say I'm a little disappointed to find it's going to be harder than I thought for me to use them because it's not a background and it covers up my HA, but they are still gorgeous works of art and like I said, ultimately I'm not sorry I bought them.

You need to go to the Beta Wardrobe and move it below your avatar's base. Bases are now on their own layer and can be moved, which is why this is happening with newer backgrounds. :)

For real? Hm...my first instinct is to be annoyed, but that's actually really convenient. I haven't liked the beta wardrobe because in flipping through pages of my clothes, it'll show repeats and then I feel like I'm missing stuff...but I can always switch there to change my base layer. Thanks for the tip.

Hey so I know there was a siteupdate ping about this but I still see these concerns/confusion in boards and in news posts involving new backgrounds.

... I really think either a news post might be in order, and/or a super helpful note at the top of the page for the non-beta wardrobe letting people know that they can move full backgrounds underneath their HA base in the beta wardrobe!
